This Privacy Policy explains how ATLANTIS-UV Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (Atlantis-UV Kft., “Atlantis-UV”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit atlantis-uv.com (the “Website”), contact us or use our contact form. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian law.

2. What data we collect
  • Contact form: first name, last name, e-mail address, country and, if you tick the box, your consent to receive communications from Atlantis-UV.
  • Correspondence: data you provide when you contact us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp (e.g. name, company, position, contact details, project and technical information).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and time of visit, processed by our website platform to deliver and secure the Website.

3. Purposes and legal bases
  • Answering your enquiry, preparing quotations and technical proposals, and taking steps before entering into a contract – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Business correspondence with existing and potential customers and partners, and securing the Website – our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Sending you news and information about our products and services – only with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The consent checkbox is optional and you may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • Complying with legal obligations, e.g. accounting and tax rules – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Recipients of your data
We share personal data only where necessary for the purposes above:
  • our website platform and form-processing provider (Tilda Publishing), which hosts the Website and delivers form submissions to us;
  • our e-mail and IT service providers;
  • Atlantium Technologies Ltd (Israel), the manufacturer of the HOD UV systems we supply, where needed to answer your technical request or to support your project;
  • our accountants, legal advisers and public authorities, where required by law.
Our service providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Israel is covered by such a decision) or on other appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep your data
  • Enquiry and correspondence data: for up to 3 years after our last contact, unless a contract is concluded.
  • Contract and accounting records: for the period required by Hungarian accounting law (currently 8 years).
  • Marketing consent data: until you withdraw your consent.

6. Cookies
The Website uses cookies that are necessary for its operation and for basic, aggregated visit statistics provided by our website platform. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. Some pages contain embedded or linked third-party content (e.g. video players, WhatsApp, file downloads); when you use this content, the third party may process your data under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to info@atlantis-uv.com. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), www.naih.hu, or with the supervisory authority of your EU country of residence.

8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

9. Other information
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. The Website is intended for business users and is not directed at children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown above.
